Oxford University
I never thought I would ever visit The Other Place, being very much a supporter of the tabs (or cantabrigiens). But here I am, and to be honest, Oxford is a pretty postcard scene. The colleges are nice and quaint with the air of intellectual debate around. Punting was really fun though I thought that it was really hard to move in a straight line and more often than not, circling a spot is what happens. Either that or we run into low lying branches and the stir the insects that inhabit those branches. Still, it's a sort of a one-in-a-lifetime experience. Unfortunately, my camera died before we got on the punt so I only have pictures from my phone which i cannot upload till i get home.

Ola! First blog entry after 4 terrifyingly tiring days in London. No internet access was available in Fisher Hall and the nasty brits have all dutifully locked their wifi so no smooching free internet. Fortunately, MegaBus turned out to be Oxford Tube, its more expensive cousin which we got for a low price of 5 pounds per person. They have large luxurious chairs as well as wifi on the bus, which is great. That's all for now, I'll be writing on word and will post them up when I feel more up to the job - Alvin

Post 1
Travel is all about the experience and the reflections from those experience. In order to make this trip a more meaningful one, I've decided to set up a blog, where thoughts and feelings, along with pictures are shared. I'll try to update it as often as possible, but internet access may not be readily available. This is my first time going abroad for such a lengthy period of time, hopefully, it'll be one of those unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience.
